About Joy Slaughter
Certified Marriage Coach
Throughout most of her adult life, Joy Slaughter has been engaged in managing difficulties, addressing challenges and helping to resolve conflicting situations.
For a period of 18 years, Joy served in Haiti where she co-founded and held the position of Executive Program Coordinator at Haiti Missions. Her work primarily involved providing humanitarian aid to those in need and sharing the message of hope that is found in Christ.
Under Joy’s leadership, the mission developed churches, schools, a clinic, orphanage and provided resources such as food, clothing and employment for the Haitian people.
Joy has also worked with end-stage renal patients as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician, trainer and instructor.
Joy holds certifications with the Relationship Coaching Institute, The International Association of Professions Career College, Light University, Kingdom Marriage Academy and she is a Certified Symbis Assessment Facilitator.
She also holds a Presidential Membership with AACC.
Joy has years of real-life experience overcoming obstacles and handling various aspects of forming strong relationships.
Her goal is to help individuals or couples get unstuck, improve their communication skills, help resolve conflicts and restore their connection.
Joy and her husband Alvin, also travel and minister together internationally bringing hope and the joy of knowing Jesus through the power of testimony and music.
Together, they have a blended family of 6 children and 12 grandchildren.
